As I am perched here right now, I have three track lights positioned above me. Each one has a different type of bulb. One is a Compact Fluorescent pigtail "Bright Daylight", The second is a multi-celled LED and the third being a halogen spot bulb.

They are all supposed to have about the same lumen's rating. The only one that supplies enough light to my work surface is the halogen spot light.

Next thing will be control of our toilets!!!!!! Oh, that's right, they already do!!!!!! Good thing I live in Wisconsin. Not too long of a trip to Canada where I believe you can still buy a toilet with a man sized flush. Funny thing though, those toilets are made 50 miles from here in Kohler, Wisconsin.LOL

LOL, "man sized flush"......I know what that means to a water saving environment society.

BTW, you'll never have an ideal light situation with any point source lighting like spot lights....too many shadows.

I work with 4 foot flouro tubes in my workshop, directly over the work bench, 2 feet above my head and with a shade in front to keep the light out of your eyes.

The other flouros are on the ceiling about 9 feet high in pairs.
