    What is this part used for in a CRP4896 kit (see pic)

    I am planning on building a CRP4896 and wanted to understand what this part is used for? The description in the cad file says that it is a "T slots 90 degree bracket, 4 hole, modified" - I'd like to know what is modified..

    From the picture, it seems like they are supports for the table so it can overhang, so the full working area of the machine can be used.

    Yup supports the bed overhangs, have them on my same table.

    Thanks for the info - makes sense that it is a overhang for the bed.

    The description say "T slots 90 degree bracket, 4 hole, modified" - left me wondering what was modified on it.. I am going to guess it is not important

    well, my cnnrp 2448 does get full 48" unless i extend the bed and use these brackets to support it...
