Hello all, We are new to the forum.
We have an axyz router, that isn't all that old, it is a great frame, but the toolpath for windows Really is a weak point.
We use master cam, and would like to find a way to send direct to the machine, or do a retro fit and run mach 3. I can post what components we have to work with, does anyone have contacts of info to make this a seamless transition? we Cant afford to be down for 3 months while we do a conversion. AXYZ help is stating that the machine is no longer supported, upgrade to a new operating system for a quatrillion dollars, I am ready to rip the guts out, and rock mach 3...

Hello, you may want to give AXYZ a call and see if they could give you some info on their DNC software. I think that may do what you are looking for.

I have a question regarding the ToolPath software for the AXYZ 4008 cnc router.
Anybody out there with this machine and the software?

Extensive testing resulted in ToolPath evidently has problems with ellipses or arcs.
Plain rectangle object had no issues using multipass function.

There should be a user group for AXYZ cnc routers to share experiences.

Hello Sheldon,
I find myself in the same situation.
Older AXYZ 4008 machine that the company does not support any longer.
They want $75 for one half hour of telephone support.
This should be a warning to avoid this company.
Wish there was a users group to share experiences.

I am investigating a retrofit to upgrade the controller and software as well.
Please let me know your progress.
