    Choosing between ShopBot Buddy, Romaxx WD-1, K2 2' X 2', Camaster Stinger 1

Would anyone care to help me parse out the pros/cons of these machines, I'm currently leaning toward the Romaxx, largely from a price standpoint, but also because the size is closest to what I need. I'm a complete newbie, so are there any marked differences between these machines that I should take into consideration? Thanks very much for your thoughts!

I've never seen any of these machines, but the Romaxx is probably the lightest duty (least rigid) of any of them. It's not a bad machine, but I've seen several user comments that it's not as rigid as they had expected.

Shopbot and CAMaster will have machines in my shop April 11 - 13 as we are having a Vectric camp user group meeting,, James booth of Vectric is coming along with others in cabinetry and topo software fields,, feel free to ask for a registration if you want to stand in front of the machines and meet LOTS of their owners !!

My Experience with the Romaxx WD-1

I've been using the WD-1 almost constantly for about 3 months and it's a workhorse. I'm looking to upgrade to something with a bigger working table, but the WD-1 is really capable. I build iPad stands (Freeform Woodworks) and have really enjoyed working with and learning on the WD-1. If you're interested in buying mine, I'm thinking about selling in the next couple months to make room for a bigger machine. It comes with a touch off plate, Mach3, one BobCad/Cam license, Router, T-Slot... everything. Send me a message if you're interested.
