HELP - Slowing down the Traverse

I would like to reduce the system traverse speeds on my BP VMC1000 with Dx32 (Simodrive 611) for:

    1. TC Advancement - would like to slow down the TC process, it is advance too fast and as it abruptly bangs to a stop.

    2. The traverse moves on the XYZ axis is also too fast, would like to slow them down.

I understand that there are system wide parameters that I can set but dont have the complete manual. Can someone provide some insight on what parameters to change for both above, and as well how to calculate the values for those parameters.

    Much appreciated, thanks.
    Shaffin.

Go to the maintenance page. Edit parameters. Password is 111257. As you go through the parameters you will see jogging speeds and rapid speeds. change them as you see fit.
The corrosel in/out speed cannot be changed. I bet the shock absorbers for the arm that moves it are shot. Go look.

    Hello George,

I did find the following parameter:

    ;Maximum Traverse Rate
;The maximum allowable traverse rate (positioning
;or cutting) for the 1st(X), 2nd(Y), and 4th(C) axes.
    00000206587 ;007

George: I have no clue how these numbers (values) are calculated???? ANy formula behind them.

    Thanks again,
    Shaffin.
