Radial Spokes -- oval shapped "wheel", need radial spokes.

I'm trying to create radial spokes from an oval shaped curve.

Is there anyway in Vcarve 6.5 to align a rectangle to the tangent of the curve?

    draw it as circle
array spokes and selecting all make it in X or Y direction smaller..

if it makes no satisfaction, then you can try draftsigth.. that has all cadtool for this..

if you use an ellipse in draftsigth that will result same than distorting a circle with equally distributed spokes

ie; draftsigth draw ellipse on two way, just like autocad.. makes of spline, default setting or makes of arcs..

so in draftsigth you have to set pellipse variable to 1
this way draftsigth makes ellipse of several arcsegment and alignment will be different than using spline..

Thank You. I went back and suddenly realized there is a tool "copy along vectors" (it shows an arc with three circles inline). It does the job fine for
what I need. Click image for larger version.
