Recommendations on CNC machine to do 6061-T6 Aluminum plate (14x10x4")

I've spent the past 3 days on the forums here trying figure out what my best options are. I'll be working 80% of the time in 6061 aluminum, but milling plate - most of the CNC's targeted for woodworking or thinner aluminum sheet won't hold up, apparently.

Biggest thing we'd ever mill would be 14x10x4", usually smaller but still 2-3" on the Z axis. Am I dreaming to think something like the KL-6090 or similar could handle this with any degree of decent finish and repeatability? Mostly RP stuff, design validation and test fitting, so won't be using it every day.

    Thanks for the wisdom..

What kind of tolerances are you trying to hold? Routers are really designed to work with sheet goods. 4" tall parts are asking for a milling machine. 14x10 is not too big. If you only have 6" of Z and no knee you are going to struggle to do 4" parts with different tool lengths.
