    sync vmc 840 to pc

    I cant get pc to sync to my cnc using hyper in windows in rs232 port I have no idea what to do hep please

    =i have try to read that idk if i am doing it right i was also told i may have the wrong 232 cable but idk. do i have to have a program file in order for the pc to talk to the cnc. i have just been trying to send a m code in note book to see if they would talk do i need a full program first?

    Yes, and it must be formatted correctly. Easier to punch a working program from the control to the PC first, so you can see how its formatted. The cable diagram is also on page 19.
