    Books on CMM measuring

    Hi,

    We just got ourselves a Mitutoyo 3D CMM machine (Chrysta Apex) and I was chocen to operate it. I know the basics of CMM measuring and operating, but now I'm looking for some literature on the topic.
    I would like to become a proper metrology professional, but don't really have any clue where to start or what books to read.
    I found some Metrology Handbook's on Amazon, but those 2000 page behemoths seem a bit of a hurdle at the beginning and propably don't have the basics for CMM measuring as such.
    So, if anyone would have any hints on some good educational material on CMM measuring and methods, I would really appreciate it!
