Hello,

I've been struggling with an issue when doing certain plunge cuts with my router. For example, today I was machining some mahogany, and was using a 4 flute .25" diameter end mill plunging into the wood at around 30ipm. I can't remember exactly how far my plunge move was into the material, but at most it was .25 inches, closer to around .19 I bet. So anyways, when I plunge, I hear a click, and then Mach3 throws a limit trigger error, and movement stops. I have to reset Mach, then rewind a bit to continue.

Some were saying it was noise in my limit switches, but I've grounded the shielding. I'm using the G540, with switches wired NC. I don't want to go nuts with the debounce since won't that reduce accuracy of my cuts?

Anyways, if anybody has experienced this and knows what I could check, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,
Bobby
