I am trying out the latest development release of CamBam, 0.9.8N RC9. So far I like it, except one minor problem: the CADExtras 1.1 plugin does not seem to work (it just crashed when I tried to use the Transform - Mirror function). Is it supposed to work, or do I need to wait for a newer CAD Extras release?

P.S. The new "ball nose compensation" feature is very useful, but extremely slow... Hopefully it will be a little faster in the release version.

Pretty much all the CAD Extras features are now part of the 0.9.8N core functionality, so the plugin is not needed for the new version.

For example, Mirror is now in Edit - Transform - Mirror.

There is also

Edit - Fillet
Draw - More... (for Tagents, Spirals, Trochoidals and Ellipse)
Edit - Surface - Edge detect and project lines to surface.

And yes, ball nose waterline finishing is something we plan to speed up in the next major version.

Thanks 10bulls! Yes, the new built-in Mirror function works fine where the plugin function crashed.

Are you planning any other improvements to the 3D functionality of CamBam? I'm getting addicted to it! :wave:
