Are there any CAM packages (open or closed) that are targeting additive manufacturing and 3D printing? I'm not talking about GGG (glorified glue guns) 2.5D printers but true 3-5 axis printers that combine additive manufacturing technologies e.g. SLA, SLS, inkjet etc, to produce finished parts. The principals are similar to CNC machining only they are adding vs removing materials so the tools are different i.e. nozzles and lasers vs cutting tools.

Normally, you put your solid model in to a program like magics and it does the slicing, supports, etc.
