    CAD Cam software ???

I am looking for a easy to use CAM software to generate g code for my Milltronics Partner 1 (Centurion 5) that will handle 4 axis's

It would be even nicer to find a unwanted used CAM package for sale that would do the job.

The CAM tutorial example that BobCAD/CAM uses takes about 180 steps with probably an average of 5 substeps in each of those. To make their example takes over 20 pages of the manual just for the CAM portion. Might think about MeshCam instead. I tried it and it works very smoothly. Might not have all the bells and whistles of more advanced programs but it will probably get you through the process without a VERY steep learning curve. I used Alibre Design and the MeshCAM program worked it without a hitch.

    Re: CAD Cam software ???

    Hi Joe,

I am using BobCad on a 4 axis Fanuc, and it works great. The tutorials are long because they are step by step. It is really easy, and there are really nice features in BobCad that make programming even easier. Take a look!
