[Jerry In Maine]

Just got my 2.2 kw Huanyang inverter and spindle. Referring to the manual R, S, T are the power input terminals, but it doesn't say which get the hots or neutrals. Can help but think it matters...don't want to let any smoke out of the inverter.

Anyone have any guidance?

If you look at the 'Wonderfull' Huanyang manual, it shows any two phases can be used for 1ph input R,S or T, you do not connect a neutral, if you happened to inadvertently do so it would not cause any concern as the neutral would be reverse biased by the 3 phase bridge on the RST input.

I'm looking at the manual ...it says

RST INPUT CURRENT IF THE SINGLE-PHASE SOURCE MEETS TWO WILLINGLY

And on another page

THE POWER SOURCE IS PUT INTO THROUGH THE R.S.T TERMINALS. THE 220 CAN CONNECT WILLINGLY TWO PHASE R.S.T

So ill only have two connections...one of the R.S.T trio is going to be vacant?

It sounds like you have a different manual? The Chinglish version?
Mine suggest pick any two, the 3rd left unconnected ( make sure you do it willingly!).

Funny though, the diagram shows three fused lines going to each R.S.T. and that's what had me baffled.
