Hi everyone,

I'm just wondering if there is a PM85 owner with a 25' machine torch who would like to bring up the service screen on their machine and see what the machine reports for an installed torch? Mine shows T105M25 and I wonder if this is correct. The 65, 85 and 105 do all seem to have the same part number listed for that torch in the catalogue, so maybe it's correct.

The Powermax65, 85 and 105 all identify the different torches as soon as they are plugged in. The power supply makes air flow corrections for the different lengths (for better cut quality and consumable life) and also determines whether the system is to be fired from the CPC interface connector or the torch trigger switch. T105 is the name of the Duramax torch that can be used on the 65, the 85 and the 105.......M = Machine torch, if you had a hand torch installed there would be an "H". 25 indicates the lead length. Sounds like your machine is indicating the torch you have plugged in correctly.
