Hello,
i´ve got a mxt-file and changed the default from inch to metric.
Now i would like to compile it and generate a mcp-file (Edgecam 2013R1).
Can anybody tell me how to do this ?
I do not have the cgd-file.
Thank you ...

Hi Daudi,
Compiling a mxt file is easy, if you've got the right license.
Open your cls, and check whether you've got the 'Code Generator Compiler' licence available.
If so then just go to All Programs > Edgecam 2013r1 > Programs > Code Generator. Load in your mxt and hit compile.
If you haven't got that license then either attach your mxt file here or DM me and I'll compile it for you and send it back.
Hi Daudi,
If your .mxt file is a few years old - I recommend you start a new .cgd post.
the post processor controls the cycles, functions and menus that are available
in Manufacture Mode. without an adaptive .cgd file you can never update your
post with a new template, so you will never see the new waveform roughing cycle or the
have the ability to select "Use Current Stock" - "Update Stock".
and a lot of other improvements that are all dependant on the post.
Making a new post really isn't that difficult.
To the best of my knowledge the post "Masters" at Edgecam stopped
writing / editing / compiling .mxt files years ago.
