Hi,
Im looking at building a small setup, it would just be the cnc guide rails providing me with an xy axis, I would just move the router around by hand or perhaps install a lead thread to turn by hand.
I'm trying to find some bearing housing for a rail system. I've seen various companies but one in particular offer them very cheaply. It seems you can 4 for around 40 pounds in the UK. Usually I can only find 1 for 30 ish pounds.
x4off SC20 Bearing Housing + ID20mm Samic Linear Bearing CNC XYZ | eBay
Linear Bushing | Ball Bushing | Linear Bearing | Guide Master | SAMICK - their company page seems to be korean
Of course i'm worried about the quality with them being so cheap so does anyone know about them? I do only intend to work with wood so I imagine the tolerences of accuracy for my needs is less than with metal working, but I do want something which will give little friction.
Thanks in advance, i've tried to research myself but couldn't find anyone giving reviews of them.
