Hi, I have a K40 lasercutter.
The laser shoots into 1 mirror, then into a second mirror, then into the lense where it is focussed downwards.
I have found that the further right and the further down on the bed (furthest from laser source) the less powerful the laser is.
For example, today I was cutting through a thick cotton fabric. I made a repeat pattern where the laser should have cut out the same shape on different areas of the bed. Closest to the laser source (top left on the bed) I was cutting through the fabric with ease at 500fps. In the bottom right (furthest from the laser source) I slowed the feed rate down to 200fps and it was only just cutting through.
Further from the laser source, the focussed beam appears less bright and less intense.
How can I remedy this situation? What might be the cause of this? Could it be that the laser isnt quite lined up right?
Thanks
Jack
