    Sherline Lathe Spindle Adapter

    I have purchased a oneway talon chuck and the appropriate adapter to fit the Sherline. Unfortunately even though the threading is correct the spindle is not long enough. Does anyone have any idea on how to either get a longer spindle or create and adapter that goes from 3/4 16tpi to 3/4 16tpi but longer?

    Have you looked at penn state industries online. They have different adapters for there Barracuda chucks.This is one of those times a pictures is worth a thousand words.

    Thanks for the input. I picked up a spindle adapter for my sherline and a new adapter for the chuck and it works like a champ.
