    Chinese BOB

    I have a treadmill motor and controller that has an 4N35 input for PWM. The 6 axsis BOB I have has 5v 25ma output on the output pins. I want to us this output to drive the led in the 4N35 optoisolator that is rated 60ma max. If I drive the led with 25ma will it work or will I need to us a transistor to drive the led with higher current? I am using Mach3 for the PWM. Thanks

    should be ok with a 220 ohm resistor in series.
