I have created a tool library in Solidcam.

In a new milling operation I go to the 'Tool' category out of the options on the left. I then click on 'Select'. A table comes up which has the headings 'Tool number', 'ID number' 'User definition' etc. However this table is blank. I then go to 'Import tools' and my tool library appears. However nothing happens when I go to import them.

How do I go about using my tool library in milling operations?

Try:

1) "Tools" then 2) "select" then 3) "import tools" then 3) "library"

This should work for you.

walk into the tool table and select IMPORT then select the tool.
To use this utility to be run you double-click the left mouse button.
You can also file *. prp your machine add:

@ pre_processor
**** tool_table_name = YOU_TABLE_NAME
