Tom here - I am building a plasma cutter 3 axis 3'x3' all steele and I would like to get some input on what to expect in the way of software What are my options?

Hi Tom
I advise you to choose Starcam software,which produced in China.We can draw any shapes by Autocad and save it as dxf file, then we inport this dxf file to Starcam, and change some parameters,such as start point ,end point,and so on.Then we can export it as cnc file.It is a g-code file.We can use it directly.
