A perfect example of too little too late. This program is a mess with no hope in sight. Why does the build still stay B136 after this patch? I’m sure glad we’re not wasting money on maintenance anymore.

It still crashes about the same amount, but now, if you forget to plug in your Key, it displays the "Demo Screen". Which is kind of nice....;-) BTW, that new "Demo Screen" pop up, is really the only way to know that you've upgraded to Patch 2....

To check to see if Patch2 is installed do the following:

    R-click on Surfcam Desktop Icon
    L-click on "Properties"
Under "Shortcut" tab, L-click on "Open File Location"
Use scrollbar to look for file named "patch.txt"
Double-click on the file...it should open with Notepad or whatever application is associated with .txt files.
The top line should look something like this:
    ****SURFCAM 6 B136 Patch 2****
If you do not see Patch 2 in that line, Patch 2 is NOT installed.

If note pad is your default .txt editor make sure that it opens wide enough to read that top line or it will not show everything.

I’m seeing more crashes/ lockups since I loaded this patch also. Two today. Before I could hit ok when I got a access error and continue, now it locks up with a GP fault. Figures…

So far 0 failures. But I notice it is slower to do operations such as select all.

The patch.txt is located in surfcam directory

    x64 - C:\Program Files\SURFCAM\SURFCAM6

    x86 - C:\Program Files (86)\SURFCAM\SURFCAM6

    Angry

I had a tool path with 8 tools, just about finished... SUDDENLY.... Boom, I forgot to do incremental saves and now, its gone....

Sitting here madder than a wet Cat...

For me it crashes just as often as it did before I patched it up. The ONLY difference that I have noticed is that "Demo Version" comes up if the official SIM is not plugged in...
