    uploading programs to memory card

    is there a way to upload all programs from machine to memory card it has 18 It controls

    If it has a PCMCIA slot next to the LCD, you should be able to set the I/O Device to 4 to input/output to the card. You'll need a PCMCIA-CF adapter and a CF card. I've had the best luck with old-style SanDisk cards, i.e.:

    PCMCIA Laptop Compact Flash Adapter -
    SanDisk 256MB Compact Flash CF Memory Card -

    The procedure is in the Fanuc manal. If you can't find it, yell.

    i should have been a little more clear with the question. i have about 90 programs in the machine and i would like to dump them all at the same time onto a card. if i have to do them one at a time it will take to long

    I believe you can specify a range of programs to output, such as "O0001, O2001" will output all the programs from O0001 to O2001 inclusive, or -9999 will output all programs into one large file on the card. You can then manually separate this file into single programs in a text editor.

    19.1.2.6 Outputting part program
    1. Confirm the following parameters. If this parameter is set to 1, rather
    than the value indicated by , change to MDI mode and then reset to
    0.
    However, if you changed the parameter setting, restore the original value
    after finishing this work.

    2. Select EDIT mode.
    3. Press PROG key and press soft key [PRGRM] to display program text.
    4. Press [(OPRT)] key and press soft key .
    5. Input a program number to be output. To output all programs input as:
    O – 9 9 9 9

    6. Press [PUNCH] and [EXEC] key, then program output is started.
