    GPS Bracket

I hate suction caps and even if you use some dish washing liquid on them they don't say put forever.
From the pantry I found some aluminium 6061 T6 flat bar that could be used. I went out to my car and measured all the dash and came up with an idea.
In Australia it is illegal to mount your GPS on the windshield and it attracts a fine.
I do not advocate anyone try my design as it could be dangerous.

My GPS is a Garmin and attaches to its mount via a 17mm diametre ball.
I purchased a ball bearing for this job.

    Job done and GPS mounted.
It only covers the tachometer and on a manual car I don't know why you would need one.
Anyway it is not falling down again.
