    Tool height setting issues

    Can anyone please let me know why my Fadal 3016 with a 88HS control has the following problem. Setting length on the tools sometimes reverts back to the the tool change height position. Any assistance is much appreciated

    You should use the #5 command (RESET CNC) to clear the modal values before setting tool height. If your using a legacy, 88HS or 88 control.
    We have had good luck with our Fadals milling mostly soft steel and aluminum up to 5 axis. We are always looking for spare parts If you have a broken down Fadal give a shout.
