    Another modified Momus

Hi, I am almost finished my build, I elected to go with a steel frame of rectangle and square tube, mig welded together. The rest is pretty well as per Bob's excellent plans. My spoil board will be held with the clamps shown and the work attached to the spoil board. It will be run with Mach 3 and a Gecko 540 controller.

    This is awesome!
I wish I knew how to weld steel at that accuracy. :-)
If you can get that thing to work, it'll cancel all other wood movement inaccuracy/flex problems out and you'll have a fine CNC router. :-)
Keep posting, this is very interesting.

+1 with Mac.CNC this is an excellent variation on the theme.
I bet it weighs less than mine too.

I like the single panel swing down and that might be a good variation for the wood based Momus also. Rather than the oval hole in the between member, a couple of 'U' cutouts for wiring to cross the swing panel would do fine.

    Well done and congratulations!
