    Fanuc 10T Turret Rotation Problem

    Hi,

I have a Takamatsu CNC Lathe Year Make 1986. It has a strange problem. sometimes during a program turret forgets to rotate ( one tool to another). resulting new tool doesn't come in front of chuck and old tool hits in job.
this problem comes after 2 to 3 hours of operation.
any one can help me the root cause of this problem.

    regards in advance

    Sunny

There is something odd with the Tool change logic, normally the turret/tool change requires a FIN confirmation signal that the turret has rotated to the commanded position, otherwise either the program would 'hang' or a fault message?
If the logic IS right, then somehow the controller thinks the turret has rotated already, which smacks of a sensor or other fault?
The ladder would have to be displayed and studied to solve the problem.
