    mach3 z-position doesn't change progressively

    I build my own cnc machine running mach3. i notice that when mach3 runs line N122 from the code below, the Z value on mach3 changed to Z-5.89 Instantly from z0 instead of progressively drive the motor. can anyone explain this? does it has anything to do with 2.5d and 3d milling?
    as a result of this instant change, when i stop the program and "go to z", the end mill is hanging on top of the stock (originally z0 is touching the stock)
