    ARROW1000 Alarm 44-45

    ALARM : 44-45
    hi ,
we had a motor repaired before. We tested the motor and we saw that; firstly motor rotates rapidly and then decreases their velocity at the end it stops. Also we observe the message from the screen " Yaxis servo fail:
cause:The Y axis following error has exceeded the configured servo fail limit (24) Remedy: Verify axis gains end drive connections. Reduce the speed of the axis move " By the way our machine Cincinati Milacron Arrow 1000.
    Can anybody give any recommendations?
    thank you before.

u had motor "repair," now this.

99.98% probability ur motor rpr shop did not align the resolver in the motor. find a better motor rpr shop to fix their mistake.

(symptom is run away then current foldback after 2-3 seconds - classic). where r u located?

Mike Kilroy is probably right on this one, but have also seen this happen when the motor was repaired properly. The issue in that case was the person troubleshooting the machine messed up the drive connections during the troubleshooting process before sending the motor out to be repaired. It seems unlikely, but like I said, I've run into it before.

good point; ohm out motor leads and make sure Ma goes to pin A, Mb goes to pin B, and Mc goes to pin C at motor connector (assuming it is a goldline motor - tell us motor part no if u want exact pin out to verify)

thank you for your care. By the way, before we thought that we need resolver alignment, after getting your second message to check the pinout. We changed our decision. Now, we will check the pinout. If it is possible to send us the pinout diagram we can check the pinout. After checking we will be sure. And then if it is going to necesseray, we will make resolver alignment. Our motor's part number:

is a Kollmorgen model M-415-V-A9-205. Yes, pin out I gave before is correct for this motor.

Ma goes to motor connector pin A (brown wire inside motor - FYI, in case the repair house unsoldered and goofed putting back)
Mb goes to motor connector pin B (red wire inside motor - FYI, in case the repair house unsoldered and goofed putting back)
Mc goes to motor connector pin C (white wire inside motor - FYI, in case the repair house unsoldered and goofed putting back)
