Help identifying an Electro Craft Servo Motor with a Renco Encoder

    Hello all,

I'm not a regular poster on this forum but have garnered a wealth of info lurking over the years. Thank you all for that. I find myself in need of some assistance in identifying some servo motors I have happened upon. I have got 3 Electro Craft brushed servos bearing the part number "E726". They are also fitted with Renco encoders bearing the part number "77678-145".
If one of you fine folks could help me with some old catalog pages, or any specs for that matter, I would be very thankful.

Thanks for your help guys ( and probably gals too ),
    Chris

ElectroCraft made many custom style for OEM's. the Catalogues I have show E723 and E727, you may have to match it up to a frame outline drawing.
The factory option for encoders were renco 500 or 1000 line, I should have the encoder colours, does the encoder have a connector on the cable end?

    Thanks Al The Man,

You are spot on with the OEM thing. These motors came from CT scan machines, manufactured by ADAC/GE Medical. By the looks of the ones on EBAY, they are pretty popular... They have a bolt on nose mount that is 3/8" steel. As far as the encoder, yep, they have what appears to be a 2x5 IDC connector on them. I opened the cover on it and compared it to the wiring diagram you provided in a previous post, and it looks to match... Thanks for that info too, BTW . Would you have a pdf of the specs of the models you mentioned for comparison? Thanks again!
