    Very nice.

    How powerful are the servos?

    Hi Lindsay,
The z axis has a 200 watt allen Bradley.
The y axis has a 400 watt allen Bradley thru a 10:1 bayside planetary gearbox.
And the x has two 660 watt servos from granite devices thru 10:1 bayside planetary gearboxes.

Nice looking chunk of wood you carved it on. What is that species called? I have some small boards of Sidney blue gum eucalyptus and curly wandoo eucalyptus from Australia.

    Hi Carve One,
I'm not sure. I picked up a heap of wood from an old farmer in central Victoria. Australia that is.
I'm just in idiot fitter and turner.
It's not as nice as the boxes you have been making.
I left it rough on the top face to give it a rustic look. It's been epoxy coated and put in a garden.
Hopefully someone will chime in and tell us the type/species.

    Hi Wayneb,
Not at the moment. I'm about 4000kms from home. The table has been final machined and I will have more photos on Monday.

Managed to get some wiring done last night. Mounted the 165 volt power supply and the wired up the magnetic contactors. Installed the rest of the granite devices cards and Bob.
Roughly tuned the Y and Z axis also.
But getting strange results on powering up the cabinets. The Y axis surges to the right on startup and gives a following error. The cards are VSD-XE 160 from Granite Devices. May have something to do with the hall sensing. Will investigate a bit later on.
