    Load Monitor on (or not)

Is there a way to alarm Mori Seiki ZL253SMC lathe out if Cycle is started with Load Monitor not turned on? Maybe with a macro? Call a macro in the first line of code to check if On, then alarm and message if not on? How would that be done? Thanks!

It is in program, but if it is not set to monitor on the settings page it is not monitoring. That is the page where teach/monitor are shown. Want to verify its on and not in teach mode.

I don't think you can check that. there is a macro variable that is flagged 1 when the load monitor is in warning mode (#1001) but nothing for the actual monitor mode. you might need to go higher and consult Mori Seiki.
maybe you can hire smarter operators so you don't need to check whether it's in monitor mode? ;-)
