    Just Downloaded CamBam

Downloaded Cambam yesterday onto my CNC box. It runs Windows Vista. Everything seems to work as advertised...except
for producing G-code. When I click on "Produce gcode" in the machining menu...it does nothing. Does the evaluation version
not allow you to produce any gcode. The drawing is a very simple one...nothing long or complicated there. Any help???

Tried to create toolpaths, but same result...nada. I guess a better question I need to ask is "What do I have to define before I
    can generate toolpaths or gcode?

What CAD program did you use?

Is the object you designed 2D or 3D?

What format is the file you imported to CAMBAM?

    Is the "normal" side up?

Does the object show up on the computer monitor within the CAMBAM screen?

Did you EDIT>TRANSFORM>ALIGN the object to the X,Y, Z axes?

Put something simple on the cross hairs like a box
click on the box then hit choose machining in the upper menu then choose profile
in the upper right tree click on machining
go the bottom of the parameters in the lower left box and click on post processor
    choose something like Mach3
So the reason you didn't get anything is because you didn't define the machine its trying to create gcode for
then click on machining in the upper left tree
    Then right click produce gcode
it should then ask you where you want to save it to and you should have a text file with gcode
