    Motor driver wiring

I have several wires going to the motion contoller or drive. The camsoft motion board requires you to wire the comand wire, ground wire and the enabl/inhibit wire. I am having trouble loacating which wire does what. Below is the labels on the control board itself.
    Input Hi
    Input Lo
    Shield Com
    Tach Hi
    Tach Lo
    Torq Hold
    Torq Hold
    I m monitor
    Ext Cl
    shiel com
    +15
    common
    -15
    RGSO
    Spare

The make and model of the drive would help?
The In Hi and In Lo appears to be the ±10vdc control input.
The tach you should not need if the drive operates in the torque mode.
Im monitor is most likely Current Mon.
    Torq hold, Inhibit?

    Thanks for your help.
The CNC machine is a treaker and kerney VB-2.
I am changing to the Galil motion control by camsoft.
The make is Inland Motor Industrial Drive Division
    Model is TPA/2-13825-622-2X2984B5
It is currently wired like below
    Input Hi 1
    Input Lo 1
    Shield Com 1
    Tach Hi 1
    Tach Lo 1
    Torq Hold
    Torq Hold
    I m monitor 1
    Ext Cl
    shield com 1
    +15 1
    common 1
    -15 1
    RGSO
    Spare 1

I have another question regarding the motor (Industrial Drives Model #TTR-2984-4201-B-40-L). It currently has resolvers and we need to change to ecoders. What type of encoders do you recommend? Do we need to keep the brushes shown in the picture or are they part of the resolver?

That is the Tach, you will need to keep them as IIRC that drive is used in the velocity mode.
The Galil analogue 10v is the input Hi & Lo.
Also if I recall again, that drive required a 15+ 0 -15 supply to the connections shown, a look at the present set up will confirm it.
I will see if I have old prints on that drive, I had a few Inland servo info at one point.
These drives have pretty much been replaced by the likes of A-M-C etc.
For Encoders look at Koyo, US Digital and Renco.

Have you been able to find any of those drawings? I am also still a little confussed on the wiring for the drives because camsoft is only saying you need 3 wires for the motors (Command signal, ground signal, and enable/inhibit/on signal). If I need the In hi, inlow, +15, com and -15 I dont have locations on the galil to input these. please help

Sorry to get back so late, have had some pressing projects.
Is the large 3 phase SCR drives on a Cincinnati maybe?
I have the manuals also in pdf if you need them.
