Anyone have some recommendation for TIG AC DC welder from ebay, I want to weld 1 to 3 mm thick stainless and aluminum, and mostly 1 mm thicknes. I am surfing on ebay.de and I am wondering is LCD vision brand good, I know that Fronius is good but it is much more expensive. I know you get how much you pay, but do not want to get overkill equipment if it is not necessary? Is it possible to buy decent TIG AC DC welder for 1000 Euro? Any help much appreciated. I am focused in my search to buy equipment with low current that exist, from what I saw there exist model with 3 Amp as minimum and 5 Amp as minimum and price is almost double for one which have 3 Amp, anyway never welded with TIG , only with STICK (Fronius).

100 days later ...

I bought TransTig 1750 Puls from Fronius, it have 2 Amp in lowest range, just in case somebody ever wonder what to buy.
