    VB editor

Seems like the Mach3 VB editor is real straight forward editor. But I am having issues with it. I have been playing around with the Ref All Home button script (HiddenScript.m1s). On many, many occasions I make my changes, Save, and close it. When I go back and look at the file, the changes have not been saved. But then sometimes they are saved.

So, any ideas what is going on? Something this simple is driving me nuts.

    Thanks.

Hiddenscript.m1s is not really the button script file, if that's where your looking. The button scripts are all saved in the .set file. Hiddenscript.m1s is just a sort of "dummy" name that the editor uses to work properly.
Just use Operator >Edit button script. Make your changes. File>Save. Close the editor. To check if it's saved properly, use Operator > Edit button script again to look. I've never had an issue with this method.

    Thanks for the info Gerry.

I was using the Edit Button Script. Then I accidentally hit the VB Script Editor and the last file used by the script editor was HiddenScript.m1s, so I thought it shouldn't really matter how I got there. Consequently I was using both the Edit Button Script and the VB Script Editor interchangeably.

I will make a point of only using the Edit Button Script.
