Mig Welder Power Supply for Router?

I came across some Mig Welder Power Supplies and was wondering if they would make a good power supply for a router?
"Made in USA by Linde / Union Carbide. This is a Model # V1-200 MIG Welder 200 Amp Power Supply in good condition. Dial Ranges are DC 0-50 volts / DC 0-300 Amps. Overall Dimensions 35" x 42" x 44" tall."
It looks like they have more than enough power. My motors take a maximum peak of 60V at 40A ( 9A continous). I figure 50V at 40A would let me do anything I wanted with the router. But are Mig Welders Power Supplies meant to stay on that long? Man, these things are giants! They weight about 450 lbs! LOL.

Welders usually have some kind of duty cycle rating. I have a little cracker box (50A) which is rated at 20% duty cycle - weld for 1 minute, let it rest for 5 .
As you plan to use yours at much less than 10% of rated output, and it seems to be industrial strength, you can almost certainly run it continuously without worry

    robotic regards,

    Tom
