I have just bought a carving-cnc 6040 body -- it arrived very quickly and appears to be in good shape.

I have one assembly question: (first of many questions, I expect :-)

There are four *horizontal* bolts which attach the gantry to the slide (there are also four larger vertical bolts). Two of the bolts are longer than the other two, and the longer bolts would foul the bed if screwed all the way in. Am I making a mistake, or do I have the incorrect bolts?

Hi, My 6040Z-S80 has 2 horizontal bolts (are shorter) and 3 vertical bolts (are longer).

Ah, the longer ones are for the side with the cable carrier, of course!
