No. "8" shown on the LED status display -- FANUC Series Oi Mate-MB Controller

    Hello,

I use FANUC Series Oi Mate-MB Controller for my machining center. I have encountered a problem after powering up. The monitor showed nothing and the keypad did not light up. I looked behind to check the indicator lights (please see attached photos for more details). There were 4 green lights and 1 red light on. The LED status display showed "8". I'm looking for an explanation as to why this happened and how I can troubleshoot this problem.

    Big thanks in advance.

    Best Regards,
    pmanoj

That fault normally indicate that the main board did not ""Boot"" up.
The only way to rectify is to replace the main board

Alarm 8 indicates that the CPU not started,i would recomend to replace the CPU board not the main board
