FANUC 6M Kitamura mycenter 2 Tool change help

When calling for a tool change in program what are the steps neccesary?

I know M6 T10 But I must be missing something because it just sits there.
and I know it works because I tried it in another program that was already
in the control but when I enter the same info in my program it doesn't work.

You may need to command the Z axis to the refrance hight before the M6 command.

You can put t code and mo6 on the same line and in any order. In fact on the My2 it is better to have them on the same line because there is some tooling preselect software in some versions that caused the toolchanger to rotate to the new tool number but then it had to rotate back because it has to put the old tool back first.
