Hi,

I have a Mazak QT8 - Mazatrol cam T-2 lathe.

It was powered off more tan 8 months. When I was testing the machine and it worked fine for one or two days, but then it started to fail showing some alarms:

200 termal trip emergency
202 hydraulic pressure down,
1 servo lag excess x axis, etc

Sometimes the screen dessapeared with a white cursor blinking on top.

I called the technician for some help. There was some corrupted parameters in screen (a lot of "*****") and we decided reset the FX701 card. I entered all parameters and it was ok. But yesterday the alarm '22 NMI Memory parity' appeared when I was programming for testing, and the MCUAL led turned ON, also the RAMP turned ON.

Finally I decided to replace all the batteries although no battery alarm led turned ON.

Now the parameters are corrupted again and I can't reset the system. As well as I remember I restarted all parameters with switch ST1, but it didn't solved the problem. I prooved with XIC 2nd dip switch ON--->power on--->XIC 2nd dip switch OFF. But a lot of parameters still showing '*******'.

I supose that after the batteries or capacitors are discharged I just have to enter new parameters. When I try to change some parameter the alarm '488 Operation not allowed' appears. I can't contact the technician and I don't know if I forget some procedure, or the PCB is bad. but I remember that it is the same problem, but i can't reset the parameters or all system.

Am currently have the same issue and I lost all my parameters on my T8, is there anyway you could shine some light please
