Hi just bought and tested my new import 3phase spindle and VFD, can someone give clear Janet and John instructions how to set it up to switch on and off via mach3 not intrested in spindle speed as most of the time I only machine plastic or thin wood.

Read the VFD manual, and just use a single contact of a relay to select forward.
Depending on the make, you may be able to control without a relay.
What breakout board do you use?
What make VFD is it? There are as may different ways to do it as there are brands.
You will need to change at least one VFD setting to remotely operate it. Not difficult, though.

Point taken will post later type and spec, manual might as well be in Russian, written by someone who know's the in's and out's of electronics, but not how to tell someone who know's nowt about VFD's, common fault with most manuals in general.
