    Mach3, G540, USB Smoothstepper

I have my router table up, all axis working but none of the limit switches connected to the G540 will trigger a stop.

On the diagnostics tab all connections M1 M2 M3 M4 corresponding to port 1 pins 10 11 12 13 will light up on the diagnostics tab when the limit switch is triggered, and on the pins and ports tab x home y home and z home are all set to port 1 pins 10 11 12 but when triggered the gantry still moves and does not stop.

    Any suggestions ?

    Thanks
    David

Standard lever actuated with roller tip does both nc and no. In the diagnostic tab in mach3 when each switch is tripped it lights the correct corresponding light but it does not trip the stop.

re check all wireing, if NO one wire can go through from switch to switch starting at terminal 1,2,3 or 4 what is pin 10,11,12 and 13 back to earth terminal 12,
if NC one wire to switch from terminal 1,2,3 or 4 and all swithchs have one wire going to terminal 12.
it does not mater what terminal the input goes to, you could have all on one terminal and it still will work.
you just set it in mach3 use the Automated setup of inputs in ports and pins input signals trigger a switch and see what happens if it does not work from there let use know.
just set X-,Y- and z+ if it works, set these as your home switches to.
