How to slice large carving on an medium size table?

    HI,
My cutting area is only 24x40 and I have a carving that is 36x36inches.

I purchased a complete 3d model from VectorArt3d.com that can be scaled to my desired size.

Is there anyway that I can cut this carving in 2 pieces?
Please keep in mind that this is a 3d model.

    Thank you all in advance.

I suppose you could do that. Start with two pieces of wood 24 x 36 and carve one side on one and the other side on the other. Leave some overlap, so you can slice off the extra material and glue the two pieces together along the joint. If you've got a wood jointer, you can cut it a little oversize on the table saw and shave down the edge until it matches precisely (as long as you don't screw up the angle).

If you're using Aspire (you posted this in the Vectric Forum), use the Toolpath Tiling feature.

    Ger,
I never thought to look into the Toolpath tiling feature. Didn't know it existed.
Sorry for the double post. I would have posted to the Vectric forum first, but my new registration to the forum was not approved right away.

I meant that you posted in the Vectric section here, so I assumed you were using Aspire, but you didn't mention it.
