Are the Techno Isel DC Servo Motors, supplied by Dynetic, Analog or Digital and do they accept Step and Direction signals?

All the manuals are on the Dynetic site!
The one I looked over had analogue and Modbus.

I looked over their site and could not find the model that is on my (4) year old router. I called them and a tech was supposed to return my call in 30 minutes, but four hours later, nothing.

The motors are just motors. The difference between step and direction or analog lies entirely within the amplifier. The amplifier takes the signal and moves the motor accordingly.

For what it's worth, Techno equipment (the non stepper stuff that most people use) is analog or PWM into the amplifier.

Thats what we were referring to, the Dynetic Drives.

Techno does not use dynetic drives. They used to use dynetic motors. Unless maybe we're confusing terminology here.

The motors are just plain brushed DC motors with an encoder. The drive/amplifier is inside the control box. This is what gets the analog command signal.
