    Much better my friend.
Motors will run smoother and make less noise.
And you can fine use 1/16 microstep.

I am using Ethernet SmoothStepper on Windows XP and it runs like a charm.
You can also use PC based on Inter Atom CPU without any problems.

Is SmoothStepper worth it? Yes! Every penny!

    Hope that helps.
