    Amada octo problem

    Hi ,
    I have an Amada Octo cnc punch press that will not start, I don't have all of the schematics but am tracing it out.
    I can see a driver board that is located under the power supply has a green led lit up and when I press the start button a red led alarm comes on and everything shuts down. There is a small 6 pin plug going to the power supply if I disconnect that plug the unit will start but without any output from the power supply. None of the fuses are blown and sometimes if I press the start/stop buttons repeatedly the machine will start only to fault out again.

    That is almost always the power supply board. You can disconnect the machine cables to the control to make sure just in case.
