    Fadal Baldor spindle drive error

    I am getting error #10 spindle fault. I was running at 10k rpms when the spindle starting coasting to a stop. I shutdown and restarted the machine several times and have checked every fuse I can find. When I look at the Baldor Sweo drive after the error it says PH 2. I checked all the input voltage and I still have 3 phase coming in and the voltage looks correct.

    Any ideas what else to check? Spindle will not turn on at all.

    PH2 miost likely means a power supply in the drive. Check with these folks on repair (usually under $1200) practecllc.com
    We have had good luck with our Fadals milling mostly soft steel and aluminum up to 5 axis. We are always looking for spare parts If you have a broken down Fadal give a shout.
