    Having good tooling certainly helps one get a better result, but it doesn't matter how good the tooling is, if the machine doesn't have the mass and rigidity machining steel requires, those expensive cutters will just be chattering and skipping all over the place, destroying the nice sharp edges.

    Agree machine needs good rigidity but at 9000 rpm... average tooling will burn up .
    Your avg hss and carbide cutters need lots of coolent and are not designed to cut at 9000rpm.... bamboo and coolent don't mix well.
